MAN WANTED FOR GUNPOINT ROBBERY
Police are looking for a man suspected in a gunpoint robbery that took place in a video store at 725 Sixth Avenue on Sunday, April 22 at 2:50 a.m. Police said that the suspect approached a 50-year-old store employee behind the counter, turned a gun on him and demanded all the cash from the register. The employee gave him $900 and the suspect ran north on Sixth Avenue. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
The suspect is described as a black man in his 20s, approximately 5’5” and 145 lbs. He was last seen wearing a dark cap, a dark hooded sweat jacket and light-colored pants.

JOHN DOE ARRESTED FOR MENACING IN UNION SQUARE
Police arrested a 41-year-old John Doe man for allegedly menacing someone in front of 39 Union Square West on Thursday, April 26 at 12:23 p.m. Police said that the man punched a victim in his waist. When the suspect fled the scene, officers saw him throwing an ice pick into a garbage can inside Union Square Park. When police attempted to place him under arrest, he allegedly flailed his arms to prevent himself from being handcuffed. Cops referred to him as John Doe because he had no ID.
MAN CHARGED WITH ASSAULT AT L’EXPRESS
Police arrested 28-year-old Rexhep Osmani for an alleged assault in front of L’Express Café at 249 Park Avenue South on Sunday, April 29 at 5:34 a.m. The victim told police that he was punched in the face by an unknown man while he was inside L’Express Café and to avoid any other problems, he attempted to leave. While he was walking out, he said he was approached by four men who punched and pushed him, and police said that Osmani punched the victim in the face several times, causing bruising and swelling under his left eye.
MEN BUSTED FOR SELLING FAKE CRACK
Police arrested 25-year-old Alfredo Ramirez and 39-year-old Gregory Gonzalez for allegedly selling fake crack cocaine to undercover officers in front of 124 West 25th Street on Tuesday, April 24 at 6:36 p.m. Police said that Ramirez and Gonzalez agreed to sell undercover officers a quantity of crack cocaine although the substance turned out to be fake. Ramirez and Gonzalez were charged with petit larceny and fraudulent accosting.
MAN ARRESTED AFTER ACCIDENT ON THE FDR DRIVE
Police arrested 39-year-old James Masciotta for allegedly driving drunk on the FDR on Tuesday, April 24 at 11:11 p.m. Police were called to the scene because Masciotta had allegedly gotten into an accident with another driver while heading south on the FDR in the farthest right lane approaching the 25th Street exit. When police arrived, Masciotta allegedly told officers that he wasn’t the driver of the vehicle that caused the accident but the driver of the vehicle that was hit told police that Masciotta was the driver and he had taken a photo of Masiotta behind the wheel of the car. The driver also told police that when Masciotta got out of the car, he allegedly had an odor of alcohol on his breath, slurred speech and was swaying when standing. He was charged with intoxicated driving.
TEEN ARRESTED FOR COUNTERFEIT BILLS
Police arrested a teenager for forgery inside the 7-Eleven at 247 Third Avenue on Saturday, April 28 at 1:20 p.m. Police said that the teen was in possession of counterfeit bill that he tried to use to purchase mints at the store. The teen admitted that the bills were fake. Police said that the teen is a student at Brooklyn Preparatory High School.
