GUNMAN ROBS ADULT VIDEO STORE
Cops are looking for a man involved in a gunpoint robbery that took place in a Sixth Avenue adult video store in April. Police said that the unidentified man strolled up to a 50-year-old employee of the store at 725 Sixth Avenue at West 24th Street on Sunday, April 22 at 2:50 a.m., pulled out a gun and demanded the contents of the cash register. The man reportedly got $900 from the employee and fled north on Sixth Avenue.
The suspect is described as black, in his 20s, approximately 5’5” and 145 lbs. He was last seen wearing a dark cap, a dark hooded sweat jacket and light-colored pants.

MEN ARRESTED FOR DRIVING WITH SUSPENDED LICENSES AFTER ACCIDENTS
Police arrested 49-year-old Rafael Torres for an alleged traffic infraction in front of 505 East 14th Street on Thursday, May 10 at 1:17 p.m. Police said that Torres was involved in a crash at the location with injuries and Torres was allegedly driving a white box truck. Police said that he didn’t provide proof of insurance and he allegedly had a suspended driver’s license.
Another man was arrested after a collision in front of 400 Second Avenue on Thursday, May 10 at 3:05 p.m. Police said that 44-year-old Martin Rodriguez was involved in a crash at the location and his privilege to drive in New York State had allegedly been suspended previously.
Both men were charged with unclassified traffic misdemeanors.
MAN CHARGED WITH MENACING, SLASHING BIKE TIRES ON EAST 19TH
Police arrested 41-year-old David Daniel for alleged menacing in front of 9 East 19th Street on Friday, May 11 at 9:05 p.m. The victim told police that he got into an argument with Daniel, who got out of his car with a knife in each hand and chased the victim, who dropped his bike and ran away. Police said that Daniel then went over to the victim’s bicycle and slashed his tires. When police arrived, they saw a large knife in plain view in the trunk of Daniel’s car. Police said that Daniel also told them there was another knife inside the driver’s side door. Daniel was also arrested for criminal mischief and weapons possession.
MAN ACCUSED OF PULLING KNIFE IN UNION SQUARE
Police arrested 58-year-old Vadim Zhiteyskiy for allegedly menacing a person at the corner of Union Square and East 16th Street on Wednesday, May 9 at 7:20 p.m. Police said that Zhiteyskiy placed the victim in fear of serious physical injury by displaying a knife and threatening to stab the victim with it. No injuries were reported.
TEEN BUSTED FOR ATTEMPTING TO STEAL BIKE IN STUY TOWN
Police arrested a teenager for possession of burglar’s tools and petit larceny in front of 277 Avenue C in Stuyvesant Town on Thursday, May 10 at 8:30 p.m. Police said that the teen was attempting to remove a bicycle by clipping the bike lock with bolt cutters and when he was searched, he was allegedly in possession of said bolt cutters. The name of the teen is being withheld due to his young age.
MEN BUSTED FOR FIGHT AT BREAD AND BUTTER
Police arrested 23-year-old Bryan Jimenez and 62-year-old Walker Haskell for an alleged fight inside Bread and Butter Market at 419 Park Avenue South on Tuesday, May 8 at 11:13 p.m. Police said that Jimenez and Haskell got into an argument over their spots in line at the location when Jimenez allegedly punched Haskell in the mouth, causing a cut. Police said that Haskell then displayed a knife with the intent to use it but made no physical contact.
MAN BUSTED FOR STASH OF PILLS IN UNION SQUARE
Police arrested 25-year-old Wesley Murray for possession of an alleged controlled substance in the Union Square subway station on Saturday, May 12 at 12:42 a.m. Police said that Murray was seen walking in between train cars inside the station, in violation of transit rules and regulations.
When he was searched, he was allegedly found to be in possession of 49 pills of methylphenidate, 39 pills of Zolpidam, three pills of Tramadol, 21 pills of temazepam, 32 capsule pills with a brown powder, a jar with alleged cocaine, scales and other pills that were allegedly recovered from his backpack.
MAN BUSTED FOR STEALING LAPTOP
Police arrested 29-year-old Jamel Ennis for allegedly stealing a computer from inside an apartment building on Fifth Avenue on Saturday, May 12 at 6:48 a.m. Police said that Ennis entered the building and allegedly took a security laptop from the front desk, reportedly attempting to leave. Front desk security confronted him as he was attempting to leave but he allegedly fled south on Fifth Avenue and was stopped near 18th Street. He was arrested in front of 69 Fifth Avenue but it was unclear where he allegedly stole the laptop from. Police said that he was brought back to the location and security identified him as the person who had stolen the computer.
